  • About This Project

Located in the prestigious Orangetree Resort area of Phoenix, AZ, the Blackheath Home by Spry Architecture is a 5,000-square-foot modern residence that seamlessly merges golf course living with clean, contemporary design. This bold desert home features floor-to-ceiling glass, a striking metal-clad fireplace, and minimalist interiors that let light and views define the experience.

  • Desert Light and Glass: A Phoenix Modern Masterpiece

The 15-foot ceilings in the great room soar above an open, light-filled space oriented toward views of the lush golf course just beyond. Throughout the home, 9-foot ceilings and full-height windows maintain an immersive connection to the landscape, maximizing natural light and indoor–outdoor living. The material palette—metal, stucco, and glass—reflects a modernist sensibility, while details such as sleek cabinetry, metal panel accents, and clean lines showcase Spry Architecture’s signature minimalist approach.

  • Where Desert Meets Design Clarity

With its pure lines, restrained material palette, and connection to nature and recreation, the Blackheath Home exemplifies efficient elegance in desert architecture. Built for both livability and legacy, it speaks to those who seek a modern Arizona lifestyle grounded in clarity, simplicity, and beauty.
