Client-Centric Homes
Rooted in the Desert Terrain. We craft progressive modern architecture that celebrates the dramatic light, rugged geology, and enduring majesty of the American Southwest.
A Restrained, Material-First Approach
Founded in Phoenix, Arizona, Spry Architecture approaches each residential project not as a monument, but as a lens through which the landscape is experienced. Deep overhangs temper the midday sun, casting kinetic shadows across honed stone floors.
We eschew superficial architectural ornamentation in favor of authentic, raw materials: rammed earth, board-formed architectural concrete, weathered steel, glass bridges, and warm natural woods that age with grace in desert conditions.
Our boutique studio deliberately limits commissions each year. This guarantees that our principal architect and senior collaborators remain intimately involved in every client conversation, site sketch, and structural detail.

Client Reflections
“When we were introduced to Eric Spry, we had no idea how fortunate we were. One of our favorite lines from Eric is how “every detail is a unique note in the overall composition.” The home he designed for us is a daily source of tranquility and architectural wonder.”
“After interviewing 4 individual Architects, I was most impressed with Eric Spry of Spry Architecture. As I described to him some of the features that I visualized seeing in our home he actually listened and took notes. He would add in his creative ideas to make my vision come to life !!! Not only is Eric imaginative , full of great ideas and a problem solver, he was also very easy to work with. I would definitely use his company again and will refer his Architectural services to others.”
