Perched on a scenic hillside in Phoenix, Arizona, the Fisher Molaver Home is a 3,000-square-foot modern desert residence designed by Eric Spry of Spry Architecture. With three levels carefully stacked into the slope, this home captures extraordinary views of the western mountains, Sonoran sunsets, and the city lights of downtown Phoenix. Blending clean lines, elevation, and open space, the residence exemplifies Spry Architecture’s philosophy of contemporary architecture that responds to terrain, light, and lifestyle.

  • Views, Light, and Elevation

The design makes full use of its sloped site, creating a three-story layout that maximizes visual access and daylight. All three bedrooms, a media room, and the 3.5 bathrooms are positioned to enjoy natural light and elevated views, while remaining private and protected within the hillside context. The heart of the home is the great room, an expansive open-plan space that extends directly to a covered poolside patio, designed for both entertaining and everyday enjoyment. Glass walls and sliding doors open wide to let in the breeze, frame the views, and create seamless indoor–outdoor living — a signature of modern desert architecture.

  • Urban Views, Desert Sensibility

The Fisher Molaver Home is a refined yet grounded example of modern hillside living in Phoenix. With its layered plan, precise orientation, and elegant desert detailing, it balances urban exposure and private retreat, offering timeless comfort and sculptural presence. This project reinforces Spry Architecture’s reputation for creating modern homes that are both architecturally significant and deeply livable.
